    Digital scrapbooking…?
Does anyone have any info on digital scrapbooking? I take so many pictures of my new baby, and I would like to scrapbook, but I think it'd be more practical to do this on a computer. I'm not really familiar with this, but I've just recently heard of it. Are there any good websites that could give me a tutorial? Is digital scrapbooking cheaper than regular scrapbooking?

Check out some of these links:

As for whether it's cheaper, it is cheaper since you don't have to print the photos themselves or perhaps buy papers and embellishments, so you may only have the cost of printing out what you've created.

But some of the digital scrapbooking pages have lessons, projects, etc., for a fee too, and if you use some of those, the cost could go up.

There are loads of digital sites with many giving away free kits and RAK's (random acts of kindness). If you really want to get started you need to have something like photo shop elements as a programme. A couple of sites that I use are http//www.snapandscrap.net where you can complete challenges every month for free kit. They also do a newsletter with tutorials etc. Another good give away site is scrapwow.net. and their sister site RAK which has a link from scrapwow

Scrapgirls.com also is dedicated to digi scrapping and do a newsletter with a freebie every few days and lots of tutorials.

Just get in there and take the plunge.

It is definitely cheaper as you can use the stuff again and again, but you don't get the touching you get with paper albums. I do both
