I suggest you search some digital scrapbooking sites to get an idea of what people are paying for their kits. The number of elements in the kits would make a difference, and it would also make a difference if you were only selling your kits as DVDs or as downloads.You would need to factor in the cost involved in making the kits, then add a mark-up of, say, 20 - 30%, though it may not be that high for a download.

If you have a traditional scrapbook, take pictures of each page and upload them to your digital program. You can alter them at will then and arrange them into any order you want.

When you photograph your original album, lay it on the ground so you have a neutral background and stand over it to take your pictures. This way you will have more of a chance of winding up with squared pictures instead of angled ones. If your album is unable to lay flat, try stacking thin books/magazines under the album to help it lay out flat and level.

The better your camera, the better the result will be.
